Hey...so...I'm back from France. It was simply amazing. I completely want to live in another country! It went by way too fast but I'm thrilled to be back cuz I missed my Alex terribly :(!! He better have been good while I was gone!!!!! So...but yeah France rocked! Paris was my favorite but we went ALLLL over. We also went to the beaches of Normandy to see the site of D-Day. It was really amazing. And the American graveyard was ridiculous!! I couldn't believe all the graves. It was pretty emotional. And there were old men there like tearing up and I wonder if they were involved in D-Day. It was sad. But then we got to see two castles. They were amazing!! Hopefully I can figure out how to post pictures on here once my lazy ass gets them developed! But...now I have a TON of laundry so that's all for now!!

Haven't done this in awhile....so I figured I would. So...nothing is going on with me...and I mean a big hairy NOTHING!! I've had to move home...temporarily I hope...and I miss Pa terribly!! Funny how like...8 months ago I couldn't wait to graduate and leave...and now all I want is to go back. And I miss my Alex like whoa! I didn't think it would be this hard to function without him. I keep like...assuming that I get to see him later in the day...and then I remember he's 2 hours away...and I get incredibly sad. My mom is like...all worried cuz she said she didn't expect me to take it this hard. She's like "I wasn't this bad when I had to leave your father" I mean...I don't think I'm that bad...but whatever...hopefully I'll get to go back soon.
I'm so bored. I got wayyyyy to much sun the other day...so laying out/swimming is no longer an option. I just watched the ENTIRE first season of Coupling...or something like that. It's a British comedy about a group of friends who like...hook up with each other and crap. It's actually really funny.
In other news....FRANCE IS IN LIKE 2 WEEKS!! I'm so excited!! Nothing further on that...just...YAY!

So...long time no post...lots has been up with me...but I will write about my most recent irritation:

I've been working on my honor's psychology proposal for about three semesters now. The program is set up so that after each semester, a committee of faculty reads your paper and critiques it. They decide whether or not you are ready to move on based on the collective comments. Well, for the past three semester I've basically have had the same three committee members read my proposal. I should finally be in the last stage where I actually collect data...and one of these members all the sudden decides there's all kinds of shit wrong with my study. So now, he expects me to completely change my topic!!! He wants me to basically cram 3 semesters worth of work into 1!!!! I'm livid!!! Like he couldn't have brought up these concerns the 3 other times he's read it...when I actually had time to change a few things!! To make matters worse...I have class with him this semester so I have to see him ALLL the time (oh yeah...this class includes a lab). I'm so frustrated (to say the least)!
But on the up side...my wonderful friend Jaymee set me up with an amazing guy back in October!! He simply rocks...and...I love him :/...yeah...I said it...I love him..soooo..THANKS JAYMEE!! LUV YA GIRL!! :) :)

I gots a guitar!! :) My siblings got it for me for my bday!! I'm so psyched about learning how to play (oh yeah...did I mention I have no idea how to play??) It's cool though...cuz...I'm gonna learn and be just as good as Jewel...and be all folk-y and go to like...chic coffee shops and play my material and people will be like "whoa she's chill!" and...then i'll be a world-renowned psychologist who plays guitar on the side...and people will want me in their bands...but I'll be busy with research (sorry guys!)...but I'm not opposed to guest appearances! So...that's the deal!

So...I'm taking a hip hop class...yeah yeah I know...fat white girls can't dance. And I can't..but it's so much fun. We dance to all the newest songs like Usher and crap (...and...we all know how I feel about Usher) And the dance teacher is this awesome girl who used to dance on some Philly dance team. She's awesome! It was intimidating though cuz when we were introducing ourselves the girls were all like "I'm Ashley...I've been dancing for like 12 years" Angela, Sara, Laura and I were looking at each other like "oh god.." Then it gets to Sara and she's like "yeah...I'm Sara...and I've been dancing for 2 weeks" I almost peed myself. Oh...I work with Angela and Sara if anyone was wondering. But it's an awesome class. And...Angela and I suck..haha...but we are getting there. We stayed in the parking lot like an hour after class to work on our routine. I finally got it...well without the music...those steps are freakin fast with the music!! Well that's all for now...gotta do homework! :)

12:31 am - USHER ROCKS MY WORLD!!
So...to make a long story short...USHER WAS AMAZING!! I...absolutely...love him...just love him. He puts on a good show! He sang so many old songs...I loved it! LOVED IT. AND he brought some girl from the audience up and sang to her...gave her flowers...danced with her...let her wear his hat... AND KISSED HER!!! I was so jealous!! Then she got to go backstage with him and who knows what happened after that!! But it was cute...cuz when he picked her out of the audience he was like "you!" and motioned...and this lil skinny girl starts going up and he's like "no no...wrong girl...you!" and it ended up being this lil fat girl...so that was cute!...he's such a gentleman!!
So...that was wonderful. The next day we got up early and went to Six Flags. It was just ducky til Laura passed out in line. It was the scariest thing ever...her eyes rolled back into her head and I just felt helpless!! We got a ride to the emergency building and a cute EMT fixed her up. The rest of the day was stressful for me cuz I kept worrying about her and my brother and sister. I was afraid they'd be next! I kept babying everyone to drink more water!! Other than that...it was an alright day!

Well, I've been back from Italy for like a week now...and...I want to go back!! I love everything about it. Everyone is so welcoming...and...the guys are oh so hot! Seriously...Italian men are amazingly beautiful! Especially a certain bus driver named Simone *sigh* (who, by the way, I will have a torrid love affair with when I return to live there) Anywho...I will one day live there. I've decided. It's so perfect! And so carefree! And so everything living here isn't! And beautiful!! Even the crappiest apartment buildings are covered in flower boxes! It just makes it so quaint! I love the buildings, the outdoor cafes, and even the streets are cooler! There isn't pavement...it's all like...cobblestone roads and cool shit like that! I simply loved it. I was going to write a long, drawn-out entry about absolutely everything I saw...but it is all such a blur...I wouldn't know where to begin. For the record, however, Venice was my absolute favorite! Sorrento was a close second...with the amazing coastline. Wow...just wow...I wish I could have taken all my friends with me to see some of this because I can't even describe how amazing it all was. Well...once I live there...I will fly each and every one of you out to visit! ;)

03:07 pm - another night at the village...
So...I went to the Village with Angela from work the other night. It was pretty rockin. But...when we first walked in the door...Angela runs up and hugs someone who ends up being none other than..."dun dun dunnnnnn" LONG-HAIRED GUY! Yes...Long-Haired Guy (LHG) from Jaymee's bday that I got a pic with! So he spills beer on us...ha..and Angela makes him buy both of us a shot. He ends up hanging out with us the whole night! Angela left for a few to hang out with Anthony (another kid I work with) and so it was me and LHG. He bought me another shot but I had to dance with him to get it...and...OF COURSE...DUDE IT WAS LONG-HAIRED GUY! So then Anthony comes over and gives me a big hug...and LHG goes "oh my god! you know 'Dude With the Hat'!!!???" (cuz Anthony always wears a hat)...so weird! and then LHG goes "I can't believe you know 'Dude With the Hat'" and i was like "I can't believe I know you!!" Such a weird ironic evening!! Then I get introduced to this kid LHG went to high school with! We are like...tight man!...so weird...but so fun! I thorougly enjoyed every minute of it!

06:13 pm - so you wanted an update....
Taren says I haven't updated in awhile...so here goes:

Today I just realized that I accidentally added $86 instead of subtracting it from my checking account. What does this mean? Oh...only that since then I've been writing checks out the wazooo for the gazillion bills I get this time of the month...now i'm in major debt. Plus, I have rent due in like a week...and I'm afraid the second I put a check in for it...it will be sucked up to pay for all the shit that was bounced. So...I'm screwed. And with the hours I've been getting...it will take me forever to pay all this off!

I was so nauseous..and scared to tell my parents. I was freaking out though...and I had to tell them. They were oddly...really calm. My mom told me that everyone does this...but...you can't really tell a demented-"always has to be in charge" personality something like this...because to me it doesn't matter what everyone else does...it shouldn't happen to me (yeah I'm sick like that...that's another story..)

So basically my parents told me they'd help me out...even though I WAS NOT calling them for money...I hate asking people for things ESPECIALLY money. Even if people OWE me money...I hate asking for it and usually end up eating whatever people owe me. My mom has been doing extra tutoring and my dad just got promoted so they do have the money to help...but I DETEST asking for it. I didn't want their money...I just needed someone to vent to because I was in tears...and...basically have wanted to throw up since I realized my stupidity. I don't know which is worst honestly, (1) owing a ton of money, (2) realizing I'm not as in control as I like, (3) or having to have someone help me out of my mistake. Yeah...like I said...I'm sick.

I hate money...
